How to SAFELY remove temporary dye (without damaging your hair)
Sooo once again I am about to change my hair color so I am going through my normal process of how I get my color out. I change my hair color a lot, (about once every month or two) BUT my hair is still in great condition and part of the reason is because I avoid a lot of the processes that a lot of people normally do to their hair.  Here is an example of some of the hair colors I have had over the past 3 years (in order from left to right)

If you've ever dyed your hair with temporary colors before (pink, blues, reds ect.) you know that you have to first bleach your hair lighter and then getting that  temporary color out can take a very very long time and lots of chemicals. But I have come up with a way to speed up the process  without damaging my hair!

Are you ready for it? duh duh duhnnn!!!

COCONUT OIL and DISH SOAP!

Now stop! Don't close this page because you think I'm crazy, I really use this and it does work for me :)

What you I do is  mix Equal parts coconut oil (or olive oil) and liquid dish soap in a plastic cup, stir it around really well and then massage it into my wet hair. Lather it up really really well, then rinse your hair and condition it. (you HAVE to condition it or your hair may feel dry)

Now here is why it works. Suds from the dish soap are what strips your hair or the color  but if you use dish soap alone you would excessively dry out your hair, so by adding the oil into the mixture your helping your hair maintain some of that moisture.

Things to note: This is not a miracle hair treatment. If you have bright red hair and you use this process your hair will not magically be blonde again. It will just be a bit lighter than before. So it will still take TIME and patience, but it does work a lot faster than just letting the color wash out on its own, and is a lot better your hair than a color removal kit, and for me personally It works great to speed-up the dye removal process.  Its how I've managed to dye to my hair so many times and not be bald :)

There's my secret! Hope it helps :)

Disclaimer: Although I do use this on my own hair I am not a professional and am not recommending it for all people and hair types. This is simply MY technique that I use and am sharing with you and am not responsible for any results that may occur from copying my process.
